Meet the Doctors Dr. Randy Raasch has led the veterinary team at McFarland Animal Hospital since 1988. He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to practicing in McFarland he worked for 8 year for a practice in LaCrosse, WI. He, his wife Debbie and their three children Bryan (a recent college graduate), Katelyn (currently in college), and Emily (currently in High School), live in McFarland with their dogs "Chloe", "Angus", and "Lacy". Dr. Lori Scarlett joined McFarland Animal Hospital in October of 2006. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1995, she and her husband Cameron moved to Durham, North Carolina. After eleven years in the South, Cameron took a job at the University of Wisconsin and Lori, originally from Nebraska, is happy to be back in the Midwest. Lori and Cameron have three boys; Caleb, Asher, and Micah, along with four cats and a dog. Dr. Ann Plata has been a member of the McFarland Animal Hospital staff since 1988 and runs her own mobile veterinary service out of the Sun Prairie area. She is a 1981 graduate of the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband Cris live in Columbus with their horses and their dog "Ziggy." Consulting Veterinarians Dr. Elizabeth Laing is a board certified surgeon who completed her surgical residency at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Currently, she operates a mobile surgical practice. Dr. Laing sees surgery related cases and does non-routine orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries at McFarland Animal Hospital. Dr. Deb Darien is a board certified radiologist completing her residency at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Dr. Darien operates a mobile ultrasonography service. She does ultrasound examinations, ultrasound guided biopies and radiology consults at our hospital. |
